Strengths
- Plan mode first. Each edit waits for approval, shown as a clean diff.
- Parallel subagents. Larger work splits across worktrees.
- Existing setup works. AGENTS.md, skills, hooks, plugins, and MCP servers load as is.
Limitations
- Early beta. Behavior changes between releases.
- Needs paid access. SuperGrok or X Premium Plus required.
- Large tasks need oversight. Plans and diffs must be read before approval.
Where it fits
Grok Build fits terminal coding work with plans and review. It suits repos already using AGENTS.md and MCP.
Current assessment
Grok Build remains in occasional use. It is checked for coding tasks as the beta moves. Detail will be added as use continues.
